  1. How do I make a reservation?

    Making a reservation with Seattle Furnished Suites is an easy three-step process.

    The first step is checking the availability of your desired suite. To do this, use the green INQUIRE NOW button on the individual page of your desired suite. Or simply use our Contact Form.

    Once we have confirmed the availability of your desired suite, the second step of the reservation process is completing the Reservation Form (available here) and submitting it to us via fax, mail, or email.

    The third and final step is mailing your deposit to the address at the bottom of the Reservation Form.

  2. Do you accept less than one month stays?

    Our minimum length of stay is one month.
  3. Can I do a daily pro rate after the first month?

    Yes. Our suites operate almost like a hotel after your first month. You can pro rate extra days, just as long as you give us a minimum of 2 week notice. You can pro rate the extra days at 1/30th of the monthly rate for every extra day.
  4. Do you have a waiting list for specific arrival dates and apartments?

    After speaking with us, you can complete the Reservation Form and follow the reservation process. We hold your check until we can confirm your unit and arrival date.
  5. Do you accept pets?

    Usually not. But we do sometimes make exceptions, which are determined on a case by case basis.
  6. Do you accept smoking?

    Our suites are non-smoking.
  7. How do I pay? When do I pay? Who do I pay?

    You can pay by check in US funds, a bank check, cash or wire. It is best to make checks payable to Seattle Furnished Suites. We are unable to accept credit cards. Your rent is due upon arrival. We can usually arrange to meet you upon arrival to get you settled and accept payment.
  8. What does "completely furnished" include?

    All of our suites include bed and bath linens, kitchen linens and supplies, dishes/glasses etc, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, all furniture, TV, vacuum, iron and board.
  9. What is the role of the deposit? Is the deposit refundable?

    The deposit serves as a confirmation of the apartment of your choice. A cleaning fee is deducted from your deposit; the amount depends on how long it takes the cleaning crew. The remaining deposit will be mailed to you within 7 days of departure.
  10. When I depart, what am I expected to do?

    Please keep us informed of the date and time of your departure. The cleaning crew washes all linens and does complete housekeeping. If you have moved furniture and supplies within the apartment, please put things back to the original configuration.
  11. Can I leave earlier than expected?

    Yes. If you will give us a minimum of 3 weeks notice, we will work with you for return of unused rent.
  12. Can I extend my stay?

    Yes. Please let us know a minimum of 2 weeks ahead of time if you wish to extend your stay.
  13. Cancellation policy?

    If we provide you a suite as agreed, and have accepted your deposit for a suite, and you cancel less than 2 weeks of arrival, we reserve the right to retain your entire deposit unless we are able to find a replacement for the stay. In that event, we will refund to you what portion remains of your deposit on a prorated daily basis. We understand emergencies do happen so we make a case-by- case determination and try to treat you as fairly as possible.
  14. Is there parking? Is it included in the rent?

    Most apartments have either a reserved space or open parking in our private lot. Some buildings have covered parking or garages. Parking is included in the monthly rate if available. Some units offer street parking only.
  15. How about laundry facilities?

    All units have either free laundry or access to coin-op laundry in the building.
  16. Is there telephone service?

    With the popularity of cell phones, few units have traditional landline telephones. If a unit does have a landline it is for local calls only; long distance is by prepaid calling card.. We have a few Trac Fones you might ask to borrow; inexpensive additional minutes can be purchased at a number of drug stores and convenience stores.
  17. Is there cable TV service?

    Every unit has standard cable service with 70 plus channels available.
  18. Is there high speed internet service?

    Most suites have wireless high speed internet connections. Some suites have hard wired internet.
  19. Are heat and electric included?

    Yes. In the winter months we ask that you try to conserve energy usage by turning down the heat and turning off lights when you are not in the apartment.
  20. How walkable is the neighborhood?

    Each building location has a link to www.walkscore.com, where you will find a wealth of information.
  21. How do I get around by public bus system?

    Each building location has a link to www.tripplanner.com, where you just fill in the simple fields and you will find it is very easy to move about Seattle by public transportation.
  22. How do I get around by car?

    Each building location has a link to maps.google.com, where you can get driving directions to all places you wish to drive to.
